Sun rises on Rotary raffle winners

The Rotary Club of Grand Cayman
Sunrise raffle was a success with visiting District 7020 Governor Diana White
drawing the lucky tickets during the Island Living Show at Camana Bay on

The 2010 Ford Explorer Sport Trac
truck was won by Edgar Thomas, with the winning ticket being sold by Rotarian
Douglas Murray.

The 2009 SeaDoo RXT jet ski was won
by Jane Cebo, having been sold her winning ticket by Director Glen Trenouth.

And the $500 of gasoline from
Walker’s Road Texaco went to Berris Barnett, who was sold that winning ticket
by Director Patricia Steward.

The winners did not have to be
present at the drawing, but President Michael Levitt personally spoke with the
winners and reported all ecstatic to learn of their good fortune.

Rotary Sunrise was chartered in
2002 and has members who are mostly young professionals from Cayman and 24
other countries. They have fun contributing to the Cayman community and meet
for breakfast at 7 am on Wednesdays at Grand
Old House.
