Car raffle continues

There are just a few more days to purchase your ticket for Cayman’s Sunrise Rotary Club’s annual car raffle fundraiser.

This year, the car is a blue 2012 Ford Explorer valued at $38,000. The second prize is a 2011 three-seater Sea Doo Jet Ski and trailer. The third prize is $500 of gas. The winning tickets will be drawn at the Cayman 27 Island Living Show at the ARC in Camana Bay on Saturday, 21 July.

Tickets are $25 each or five for $100 and are available from any Sunrise Rotarian and at AL Thompson’s from Monday through Friday. On Friday evening, 13 July, and Saturday, 14 July, tickets will be available from Rotarians outside Foster’s Foor Fair at The Strand and they will also be available at the Cayman 27 Island Living Show.

This is the club’s biggest annual fundraising event and proceeds will go toward the club’s projects, including the Spotts Newland Community Park, the Youth Obesity Taskforce and literacy initiatives.

Rotary Sunrise is a diverse group of like-minded professionals age 30 and older committed to serving their community who meet at the Grand Old House for breakfast on Wednesday mornings at 6.45am for 7am. For more information, visit the club’s website www.rotarysunrise.ky
