Jingle Bell runners prove to be cheery and Reliable

Reliable Industries fielded a team of 10 people in the annual Jingle Bell Walk/Run event, which was held this month to support the Cayman Islands Crisis Centre.

The Jingle Bell Walk/Run is now in its tenth year and is a major fundraiser for the crisis centre, in which the event attracts hundreds of participants and has become a highly anticipated event of the holiday season.

All 10 representatives of Reliable Industries entered the 5K walk, with the first member of the team completing the course with a time of 31 minutes.

“We were delighted to participate as a team for such a worthy cause. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and plan to make this an annual event for our staff to participate in,” stated Sharon Smith, president of Reliable Industries.

The 2012 Jingle Bell run/walk was looking to replicate last year’s offering, the most successful yet, with over 400 participants and almost $50,000 raised for the crisis centre.
