Conyers Dill & Pearman held an in-house blood drive at its offices together with the Cayman Islands Blood Bank on Oct. 16. Nurses from the Health Services Authority conducted the blood donation and registered 17 new donors during the half-day session.

“I am proud of our team for participating in this important initiative. The need for blood is constant in the Cayman Islands, as is the case in many parts of the world. I hope that our blood donation will not only impact the community, but will also inspire others to donate,” said Kevin Butler, partner and head of Cayman Office.

Established in 1999, the nonprofit Cayman Blood Donor Service supports the HSA with the aim of educating the public on the importance and simplicity around the process of voluntarily donating blood, as well as acting as a liaison between voluntary donors, the HSA and other related agencies.
