CAL’s Chicago route resumes

If you want to be wowed by the majesty of the tallest building in the United States, the Sears Tower in Chicago is for you, according to a press release from Cayman Airways.

‘If you want to enjoy a feast from any cuisine and have a choice of over 7,000 restaurants, Chicago is for you.

‘If you’re the devoted sports fan and want to watch major league soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey or football, Chicago is for you.

‘If you want to enjoy the arts, whether it is live theatre, jazz festivals or paintings and drawings adorning the cityscape, Chicago is for you.’

On Saturday, November 19, 2005, Cayman Airways resumes its non-stop Boeing jet service between Grand Cayman and Chicago.

Effective December 21, 2005, Cayman Airways will operate an additional flight northbound on Wednesday evenings and southbound on Thursday mornings.

The schedule is as follows:

Grand Cayman – Chicago: Flight KX504 departs 4.30pm, arrives 7.25pm Saturday; Flight KX506 departs 6.50pm, arrives 9.45pm Wednesday (effective December 21).

Chicago – Grand Cayman: Flight KX505 departs 9am, arrives 1.55pm Sunday; Flight KX507 departs 10.30am, arrives 3.25pm Thursday (effective December 22).

‘Travel to Chicago is available for as low as $399* from Grand Cayman. For travel from Cayman Brac or Little Cayman add only $50 more to this great low fare,’ says the release.

Travel must be on/after November 19, 2005 and travel must be complete by April 30, 2006.
