PoolWorld has announced the appointment of its new manager, Eric Yeager.
Mr. Yeager has spent many years working in the pool supply industry. Prior to joining PoolWorld, Mr. Yeager was a retail store manager for Leslie’s Poolmart, the world’s largest retailer of swimming pool supplies. Leslie’s has over 470 stores in 36 states in the US, as well as commercial sales and mail and Internet ordering, states a PoolWorld Press release.
As a store manager in Marietta, Georgia, Mr. Yeager’s responsibilities included overseeing daily operations, managing store employees, and enforcing Occupational Safety and Health Administration guidelines. He also worked as a district trainer, instructing new employees according to the organization’s high standards and expectations.
“I hope to use my experience and talents to drive PoolWorld into the 21st century,’ he said. ‘Exciting innovations, quality merchandise and exceptional service will be the standard as we move forward.”
PoolWorld will be opening its new and expanded retail store in the Queen’s Court Plaza later this year.
In his spare time, Mr. Yeager is a filmmaker and has produced directed and filmed three short films. He also scripted and illustrated a comic strip for Georgia State Signal newspaper.
