Two 13-year-old George Hicks High School students were victims of an attempted robbery at knifepoint on the grounds of the school Tuesday.
Police were called to the school after a report of three young men jumping over the school fence with two of them then demanding money from the students.
One of the men was carrying a knife and wearing a glove on his right hand.
The young students did not have any money and the three men, about 18-20 years of age, jumped over the fence and fled down Hines Way.
The men now being sought are described as follows:
The first was of slim build, 5’11’ tall, with dark skin, hair platted in corn rows pulled backwards, wearing a black hat, dark shades, and a black T-shirt, which appeared to be a Tupac shirt, covering part of his face from his nose down.
He had on a white sleeveless shirt and black long pants and a pair of K Swiss shoes. He had two gold loop earrings, one in each ear.
The second was dressed similarly but was about 5’8′ tall with a short Rasta type hairstyle about ½’ to 1′ in length.
The third was about 5’5′ tall, of slim build, wearing a white sleeveless shirt, dark coloured faded jeans, black cap, a pair of shades and black shirt covering part of his face.
He had on a pair of white G-Units shoes and had straight hair.
Police are urging anyone with information to call DS Best at George Town Police Station or Crime Stoppers on 800 TIPS (8477).
