Mr. Odear

Mr. Odear, a senior partner in Stoll, Keenon and Park, the leading legal firm in his home city, has visited the island several times and handled legal details for the new company while it was being awarded a franchise for operation of the new company.

The Caymanian Weekly was informed this week of action taken by stockholders at a recent meeting as they completed organization of the new company.

Mr. Davis H. Elliot of Roanoke, Va., was elected Vice Managing Director for operations, and Mr. John A. Ewald Jr. of Garden City, Long Island, one of several New Yorkers interested in the project, was elected as another The Company's Secretary is Mr. E.S. Levas and the Treasurer is Mr. James S. Shropshire. Both are from Lexington, the home of Mr. Odear, and they also had leading roles in organizing the new company and laying plans for improving and expanding the power facilities which serve Grand Cayman. Both have come to the island several times on combined vacation-business visits and have expressed pleasure over having business interests in this location.

A Board of Directors for the company is to be formed at an early meeting of stockholders and probably will include several resident Caymanians, The Caymanian Weekly has been advised.
