The Annual General Meeting of Cayman Brac Airways was held on Friday last. At this meeting a cheerful report was given of the operation of the airline for the current year, especially from the financial point of view for, after 3 years of making a loss, they were able to break even. The new Dakota having been introduced, cutting out the stop at Montego Bay and going direct to Kingston had made a tremendous difference.

Satisfaction was also expressed at the good use being made of the airline by people in Cayman Brac. It was reported that another D.C. 3 is being purchased in place of the present one which is on charter. This is an almost new plane and is due to come into service during the first week in August, A Cocktail Party at Coral Caymanian Hotel was given in honour of Capt. Escalante, Managing Director of C.B.A., Mr. R. Morales and Mr. Orlando Ramirez, all of Casta Rica, who were in the island for this meet. ing.
