Unlike most other brides, Carol Ann will not have a new signature to remember for she has merely joined another branch of the Ebanks clan! Sharing the service were the Rev. John R. Gray and Rev. Raymond Coke. Miss Ruth Bowman read the scriptures and two beautiful solos, "Ave Maria" and "Hail the Bright Seraphim" were contributed by Mrs. P. Hylton with Mrs. S. G. Cook at the organ. The bride was given in marriage by her only brother, Ken who came home from Miami for the occasion.
She wore a full length classic gown of white organza over taffeta with long sleeves, tastefully embroidered with lace and seed pearls. Carol Ann's floral headpiece held in place a shoulder length tulle veil and she carried a bouquet of orange blossom with a large white orchid. in the centre. Ina Claire, one of the bride's sisters was maid-of-honour, and Alfredo Ebanks was best man. The other members of the bridal party were bridesmaids, Kathy Bodden, Martha Ruth Ebanks, Nyda Mae Ebanks, Andrea Farrington, Patricia Ebanks Spurjean Ebanks, and Denise Parsons, groomsmen Artemio Cardenez, David Parsons, Dalkeith Bothwell, Patrick Henriques, Peter Wight, Tony Conolly and Brian Bothwell. The flower-girls were Lucy Bothwell Marlene Ebanks and Laura Jackson, and ring bearer, Fred Jackson Jr. The reception was held at the Coral Caymanian Hotel, where Mr. Spurgeon Ebanks was M.C. The Rev. John R. Gray who has known the bride from infancy, proposed a toast to her.
