TOKYO - Four-time Wimbledon Champion Bjorn Borg of Sweden came from behind to beat Bill Scanlon of the United States 2-6, 7-6, 6-1 in the second round of the $300,000 Seiko World Super Tennis Championships Wednesday.

After the 110 minute duel, Borg told reporters he and John Alexander of Australia will play an exhibition match in Canton, China. Monday to show the Chinee people what the sport looks like.

In other men's singles matches, second seed Jimmy Connors outclassed Peter Feigl of Austria 6-3, 6-0 and fourth-seed vitas Gerulaitis scored as easy 6-3, 6-1 win over Tim Wilkison.

American Tim Gullikson, sixth seed, stopped his fellow countryman Marty Riessen 6-1, 4-6, 6-2, Yannick Noah of France barely beat GDeoff Masters of Australia 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 and India's Vijay Amritraj overpowered Buster Mottram of Britain 6-32, 6-3. Bub Lutz of the United States downed Kim Warwick of Australia 7-5, 6-0.

American John Sadri defeated Ivan Lendl of Czechoslovakia 6-0, 4-6, 6-3.

Mike Cahill and Terry Moor of the United States scored an upset 6-2, 6-4 win over the second-seed pair of Bob Lutz and Tim Gullikson, also of the United States.

Australian Kim Warwick teamed up with American Steve Denton to score a come-from-behind 4-6, 6-3, 7-6 victory over Jurgen Fassbender of West Germany and Mottram.
