Following on from the announcement of street names from George Town to Prospect, a committee has now been formed for the next in the street naming process. This will cover the area from Prospect to Frank Sound and will take in such important centres as Bodden Town, Savannah and Newlands.

The public are cordially invited to suggest names for the streets in the district.

The Portfolio of Agriculture, Lands and Natural Resources are grateful to the following persons who have willingly agreed to serve on the Street-Naming Committee as coopted members for the forthcoming stage: Mr. Rex Crighton, Crighton Properties Ltd., Box 496, George Town; Mr. Hubert Bodden, Newlands; Mr. Michael Watler, P.O. Box 475, George Town; and Mr. Harry M. McCoy, Box 88, George Town.

Suggested street names should be forwarded not later 29th June to one of the committee members, or to Mr. Paul Forbes-Harper at the Lands and Survey Department, who is secretary to the Street-Naming Committee. All developers of subdivisions are encouraged to participate in the street-naming.

The Portfolio of Agriculture, Lands and Natural Resources is anxious to press forward with the street-naming process and would be grateful for the cooperation of the public in suggesting names by the end of June. This would enable the committee to select the names quickly. C.I.N.B.
