Washington - A US government commission on pornography called Wednesday for a massive campaign by law enforcement and citizens against the $8 billion-a-year industry. The report, whose contents have been known publicly for more than two months, contains 93 recommendations intended to serve as a guide for federal, state and local governments to conduct a crackdown on pornography.

The commission's report, which links pornography and sex crimes, has already been condemned by civil liberties groups as a move toward censorship.
