Services on Wednesday through Friday will begin at 7:30 pm, and on Easter Sunday at 11 am. On Easter night there will be a concert. Ron and Consuelo Ebanks will be having a public meeting on the court steps this evening at 7:30. The
meeting is to discuss the proposed dredging of the North Sound. Cromwell Ebanks and others will be holding a community meeting in the North Side Town Hall this evening at 7:30. The public is invited to attend. A meeting of the Cayman Islands Veterans will be held this evening at 7 pm at the Town Hall in George Town.
All members and those wishing to become members should attend. Annual membership fees will be collected at this meeting. Deadline for entry in the Miss Cinderella Teen Beauty Pageant is this Wednesday. Application forms are available at Benetton and Trifles Ice Cream Parlour. The Financial Secretary, Mr. Thomas Jefferson will be the guest speaker at the Chamber of Commerce's next luncheon which will be held this Wednesday.
Any member of the public wanting to attend contact any Chamber member. The Pink Ladies Easter Sale will be held this Thursday outside the A.L. Thompson building in George Town from 9:30 amd to 2:30 pm.
Easter baskets, hot cross buns and Jamaica easter buns will be on sale together with Easter novelties. This Thursday Dr. Reuben Matalon a specialist in genetics will be conducting tests on Storage disease, free of charge at the George Town Hospital. Holy Week services continue at the Webster Memorial United Church until 31st March from 5:30 to 6:15 each morning. This will culminate with a Good Friday play entitled The Re-Trial of Jesus, with special music by the Cayman Male Voice Chior. This Wednesday people with addiction problems can meet at the Chaple Church of God in West Bay for a group session at 8 pm. For more information call Bob Jones at 98604. The Kiwaniannes Club of the Cayman Islands will be holding a meeting at the Pagoda Restaurant this evening at 7:30 pm. The, Cayman Islands National Squash Association will be hosting a disco at the Downtowner club, Elgin Avenue this evening at 8 pm. Tickets available from squash club leaders. All proceeds to support a team attending the Northern Caribbean Squash Tournament in Kingston, April 7 to 10.
