LEUVEN, Belgium, Reuter - A Belgian judge has given a new twist to the case of former world cyclo-cross champion Danny De Bie, banned for allegedly using a condom filled with urine to avoid a positive dope test.

The judge suspended the six-month ban by the Belgian cycling union during summary proceedings in a civil court, effectively allowing De Bie to take part in the world championships in Gieten, Netherlands, on February 3.
