Kingston, Jamaica, CANA - Twelve countries including the Cayman Islands and Jamaica will participate in the 1991 Pan American Badmintonchampionships here from June 17 to 23, the Jamaica Badminton Association reported.

The association said Grenada was the latest country to confirm its participation and will be sending a team of four men and three women. The Canadian team, with four world-ranked players, is expected in Jamaica on June 15.

The team championship will comprise five matches - men's and women's singles, men's and women's doubles and mixed doubles. The individual events begin on June 21.
