SAN DIEGO (AP) - World Boxing Association cruiserweight champion Bobby Czyz was struck by a car Friday evening in West Orange, N.J., and won't be able to defend his title against top-ranked contender Orlin Norris on April 23 in Memphis.

Czyz said he suffered a mild concussion, a strained lower back, bruised ribs, a bruised hip bone, and tendinitis in his right wrist and shoulder. He said he spent five hours at St. Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston and was released.
