There are some very proud papas on the set of Guiding Light. Rick Hearst (Alan-Michael Spaulding) and David Wolos-Fonteno (Dr. Charles Grant) both received new additions to their families recently. Hearst and wife Donna welcomed their second son, Cameron James, on July 16. Big brother Nicky is 4. Says Hearst, "It sort of lifted every worry I may have had in my life. It came down to one moment of watching my child being born. It's true that babies really do bring magic into your life, and we really are blessed." Cameron weighed in at 7 pounds, 10 ounces.

Wolos-Fonteno and wife, Mary, celebrated the birth of their first child, a girl, Cesca Grace on July 15. Cesca was a big one, weighing in at 12 pounds, 6 ounces. "She is an angel," says Wolos-Fonteno. “I can't stop looking at the two women in my life."

Dear Candace: I remember Barbara Crampton from her stint on The Young and the Restless, and I'm very glad she is on The Bold and the Beautiful Cont'd on page A24 from page A23
iful. She is one of my favorites. Could you please tell me if Luan (Elizabeth Sung) is going to die on Y&R? Also, will Danny and Cricket ever get back together? I would also like to see Nikki and Victor have one more child. - Mrs. P. Levinson-King, Queens, N.Y.:

Dear Reader: There has been no confirmation that Luan may die in the near future. But it certainly looks like something dreadful is going to happen, with all the depressing conversations she has with her doctor lately. If the actress's contract is up any time soon, it could happen.

Danny and Cricket may find their way back to one another, but it will be a while. Cricket and Paul are going to take a trip to Hawaii in September. Since this is the place where Danny and Cricket were married, something might happen during that time.

Victor and Nikki will always be connected in some way. But whether or not they will ever have a child, no one knows. Their children, Victoria and Nick, seem to have a horrible disease which causes them to appear 10 years older after going away to boarding school for a month or two. I'd hate to see that happen again. Maybe Victor and Nikki could adopt a child. Send your comments to Candace Havens, Soap Talk, Features Dept., TV Data, Northway Plaza, Queensbury, N.Y. 12804.
