London (AP) - Strutting in a pair of olive micro shorts and a green cashmere top, Victoria "Posh Spice" Beckham made her catwalk debut at London Fashion Week last Wednesday - and encapsulated British designers' sassy, sexy look for fall and winter 2000.

"The whole thing is about freedom, about the free spirit of the woman who is really a gypsy," said designer Maria Grachvogel, a friend of the star, who did not charge for her appearance.

To underline the theme of freedom, Grachvogel sent Beckham floating down the walkway at the end of the show in a long burgundy strapless gown slit to the thigh above a flamboyant flamenco frill piped in pink that flounced away into a small train.
