A CITA press release said the site includes information on industry statistics, links to tourism industry organisations, CITA events, a CITA members only area, marketing and tourism/trade event opportunities, CITA training courses & seminars, job vacancies posting facilities, access to job seekers, access to a tourism discussion board and more.
The website features complete and comprehensive information about the CITA, its role in the Cayman Islands and highlights its work in the tourism industry. As such, the public and businesses interested in becoming a member are able to learn about the CITA every day whether it is inside or outside of the CITA's office hours.
Designed by Azentec Inc., the website takes advantage of the latest technology in web design tools that allow the site to be updated on a regular basis by the CITA staff and even by members. The website is designed to encourage members to keep coming back to the site for more information that will assist them their operations.
The public and CITA members are encouraged to visit the site frequently as it will always have up to date information about past and upcoming CITA and general tourism projects.
The release said the CITA website features a "members only" area, which gives CITA members access to services and information about upcoming marketing programmes, occupancy forecasts, the tourism economic impact study commissioned by the CITA and presented by Deloitte and Touche, details about specific membership discounts and savings benefits and more.
