Personal trainer Lea Marinelli of King's Sports Centre and PowerHouse Gym demonstrates moves that take aim at another trouble spot for women - the inner and outer thighs. Strong, toned thighs are ideal for making the most of your figure in trousers or trendy shorts. A bonus is that this exercise shapes and firms glutes at the same time. EXERCISE: Side Lunge with Hip Abduction BENEFITS: This exercise tones the inner and outer thighs at the same time! You also get a great thigh and butt workout as well. WHAT TO DO: Begin by standing with your legs spread wider than hip width apart. Bend to the right side then as you straighten your right leg lift your left leg up to the side, lower your left leg and repeat on the left side. Try three sets of 20. CHALLENGE: In order to take this exercise to another level, you can add ankle weights or hold your leg up for 10 seconds before lowering it down again.
