With the summer holidays just a few short weeks away, most parents will be turning their thoughts to what summer camp options are available. As ever, there are a plethora of camps, which cater for any number of interests from sailing and marine ecology to art adventures. Run by churches, private individuals, schools and independent organisations, to all of them require parents to register their child before attending and range in cost.
Details about the government-run sports camps will be published shortly. Anyone wanting information on the latter is encouraged to leave an email address on a mailing list at www.departmentofsports.com.
