Chamber Pension Plan welcomes three new trustees

Three highly regarded local professionals have recently been welcomed to the Chamber Pension Plan as new trustees, strengthening the Board’s expertise and providing a solid knowledge base at the heart of Cayman’s first multi-employer pension plan.

Geoff Ruddick is a senior employee of International Management Services Ltd, a firm which specializes in fund governance and fiduciary services. He serves as an independent director of funds and has extensive knowledge of the commercial side of fund management as well as with compliance, corporate recovery, and audit.

Mr. Ruddick is a Chartered Accountant, a member of the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts, a member and fellow of the International Compliance Association, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Canada. He is also a member of the Cayman Islands Society of Public Accountants and a founding member of the Cayman Islands Directors Association.

With 11 years’ experience in internal accounts, Rory Mohammed is another extremely well qualified new trustee. Mr. Mohammed also has 12 years in property management and is presently the General Manager of Lacovia Condominiums, a Chamber Council Member and past Cayman Islands Tourism Association Board Director for Condos and Villas.

Gregory Bennett is a Director of The Harbour Trust Co. Ltd, and is responsible for providing fiduciary services to Harbour’s fund clients, including serving as an independent director for such funds.

Mr. Bennett has enjoyed a successful career in Cayman’s financial services industry. He holds a B. Comm Degree from the University of Alberta, Canada, and is also a CA, CPA, and a CFA Charterholder. Mr. Bennett is currently the Treasurer of AIMA Cayman, a Director of Hedge Funds Care Cayman (and Co-chair of the Grant Committee), Deputy Chairman of CIFAA (Cayman Islands Fund Administrators Association) and Past President of the Cayman CFA Society.
