Now that the word is out

Amidst the congratulations on winning the New You Makeover and
exclamations of how brave I am to do this (i.e. have everyone know my age,
weight and bust size!), I’ve had the surprisingly frequent query about why I
need a makeover.  I mean, look at me! But
then, looks can be deceiving.  There are
tummy control panels built in to clothes and with my height, the body
statistics on the website could give you whiplash!

Working with experts is great, but I could sign up to do that on my
own- and would probably drop out half-way through.  This makeover, however comprises a fail-safe
formula.  Simple as ABCD*!

Accountability- I am now answerable to
the English-speaking population of an entire country.  No pressure!
I can’t exactly ride the elevator at work or sit in KFC eating wings
anymore…

Belief- Believing in myself is an on-again, off-again
condition.  However  the professionals on the makeover team are
also wonderfully positive people, when you keep hearing that you’re going to do
great, you can’t help but believe it and manifest it.

Commitment- I accepted and it’s in print and all over the
internet.  There’s no turning back
now.  Sharon from Le Visage is excited
about trying out new make-up looks on me, and Helke, the Anytime Fitness
nutritionist is going to devise healthier versions of my favourite foods and
snacks.  And while I have let myself down
in the past and might do so again in the future, I cannot let these lovely
people down

Discipline- Do you know that everyone in Cayman has some
expertise on weight loss, including me?
I have been giving advice for years but not taking any of my own.  But now I am in the hands of real experts and
will develop the discipline to show up when agreed, follow instructions and
actually start a routine to a healthier, more energetic me.    Being accountable, believing in myself and
being committed to finishing successfully will be the foundation for this
newfound discipline and new lifestyle.
