Christmas came early for 200 families in Grand Cayman as baskets filled with groceries were delivered to these families by the members and friends of the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens as well as employees of Camana Bay and Regatta Office Park.
Ed Semans, senior property manager for Dart Realty (Cayman), said Dart Realty wanted to give families in the Cayman Islands struggling to make ends meet, a memorable Christmas. On 23 December, the firm partnered with the Lions Club in the Christmas basket initiative.
Lion Belinda Blessitt Vincent, president of the Lions Club of Tropical Gardens, said, “The happy faces and positive responses from those persons who received baskets said it all.
This is really what Christmas is, she said, “sharing and caring.”
