The Modern Language Institute and Tutoring Services Ltd. saw a few participants from the Cayman Islands Monetary Authority take part in the organisation’s language training course and complete Business Portuguese Level 1 on 16 February.
Dana Rankine, Wilbur Welcome and Ariel Tatum took part in the course, which was tailored to meet their needs. It was customised to incorporate elements such as specialised field-specific terminology, using the telephone, conducting business presentations, communicating in meetings and negotiating and socialising with business associates.
As part of their training, the participants also learned cultural tips.
