Dr. Liam Welfar, a chiropractor from Perth, Western Australia, is the latest practitioner to join the team at the DaVinci Wellness Centre.
Dr. Welfar initially attended Curtin University where he attained his degree in environmental health. He then transferred to Murdoch University where he began studying chiropractic as part of the inaugural Murdoch Chiropractic programme. After graduating with honours in 2006, Dr. Welfar immediately entered practice in a busy multi-disciplinary clinic. Here he was able to develop his interest in sports injury management, attaining his International Chiropractic Sports Science Diploma in 2007.
With this he has worked as a consultant therapist with the Australian Men’s Water Polo National Squad, the Swan Districts Football Club, the Western Australian members of the Australian track cycling team and the Australian gymnastics programme, among other sporting organisations.
Dr. Welfar has worked to expand his scope of practice by attending seminars to work with both children and the elderly. In addition to this, he has completed his training in Dry Needling therapy.
A lifelong chiropractic patient himself, Dr. Welfar has experienced the benefits of chiropractic care first hand.
He is looking forward to exploring the island, diving the Caribbean and providing high quality chiropractic care to the residents of, and visitors to, Grand Cayman.
