It’s the fifth birthday of the highly acclaimed Yeah Baby! Family Expo this Saturday, 29 September – so come out and celebrate!
Yeah Baby! is an annual trade show where all the latest and greatest products, services and information relating to babies, toddlers and families in general can be found under one roof – the roof of the Camana Bay Arts and Recreation Centre in Grand Cayman.
The event opens at 9am and runs until 5pm, and admission is free to all.
A number of booths will be set up under cover in the ARC where local businesses will display their family and baby related products and innovations and may well be offering some special deals.
It’s a one-stop shop for families to find everything they need conveniently brought together in one location.
There will be displays on everything from food and restaurants to clothing, entertainment, activities and even insurance.
More than just a trade show, however, Yeah Baby is conceived and planned with families in mind, so that parents can bring along children and all enjoy an entertaining day out.
In addition to the different businesses that will showcase their services, there will be a programme of entertaining displays and demonstrations throughout the day to keep all members of the family occupied.
There will be cooking demos, kids’ fashion shows, story time, and children’s karate displays, gymnastics and cross fit for kids.
Also, children will be able to meet their favourite television and storybook characters from Winnie the Pooh to Dora the Explorer.
Each of the characters will be hosting their own 5th birthday party throughout the day so young ones can go along and join the party, share in some birthday cake, play pass the parcel and other party games.
An ideal venue for such an event, parents will be able to get down to the serious business of shopping while children will not have a chance to get bored and fidgety.
The entertainment will also include face painting and a bouncy castle for children and plenty of seating outdoors for weary shoppers to rest their legs.
One lucky winner will also be receiving a whopping $1,000 shopping spree at any of the participating exhibitor’s stores, given away by dms Broadcasting.
