Heineken Sunday Football League leaders Fidel Wanderers suffered a rare defeat in the CML Cup semifinal, first leg, losing 2-1 to arch rivals Harry’s.
Dan Stuber got Harry’s first at the TE McField Annex in the eighth minute from a header, and Mark Ingle put them two up five minutes later.
The league’s top scorer, Keigel Atkinson, pulled one back for Wanderers in the 19th minute and that is how the score stayed to the end, despite Wanderer pressing throughout for an equalizer.
At the Ed Bush stadium in West Bay, CML Claymores beat Luca Zaino 2-0 through goals by Lucano De Riso and James Cooper.
Second legs are on April 19 for a place in the final on May 11.
