Island Heritage has new home

Caribbean insurance provider Island Heritage has moved into a bigger and brighter future at Atlantic Star House.

Located at 128 Lawrence Boulevard, a short walk from the Camana Bay roundabout, the new headquarters can be seen as both testament to the company’s success over the past 12 years and confidence of expected future growth.

Island Heritage Chief Marketing Officer Nigel Twohey, in a nod to the company’s history of success since launch, discloses that the future holds exciting new developments and certain progress.

‘Island Heritage is evolving,’ he explains. ‘We embrace our growth and recognise the importance of staying ahead of the changes in our market, our environment and our customer’s needs.

Recognised for innovation, Island Heritage has always kept a finger on the pulse of the local market. ‘We’re always looking at new ways to make our products and services adapt to a changing world,’ said Mr. Twohey, adding, ‘Our new address reflects our people’s dedication and our brand’s progress.’

In addition to the striking architecture and spacious interior, the expansive parking facilities are a hit with staff and customers alike. Denise Ebanks-Smyth, a loyal customer, welcomes the change of address. Denise explains that the move to a newer location gives her peace of mind. ‘They’re moving up in the world of insurance,’ she explains, ‘that means they’re doing well and if they’re doing well then I know my Island Heritage policy is still strong. Plus, I’m looking forward to better parking the next time I visit.’

Mr. Twohey declares that the Island Heritage family is delighted to offer their customers a stunning new office equipped with the best amenities to help them continue promoting superior customer service. However, he assures that the company will never lose sight of its original vision. ‘We’ve always been a company with heart,’ he says, ‘and our mission to provide the best and strongest protection for customers in Cayman and around the region. This approach isn’t going to change, regardless of our address.’

Appropriately, Island Heritage’s new home boasts Category-5 hurricane protection, including a safe room on the third floor housing generators and A/C units.

‘It’s only fitting that a property insurance company like Island Heritage is based in an extra-strength, hurricane-resistant office building,’ says Mr. Twohey. ‘As for the safety of customer records, we’ll continue to back them up to an off-island site every evening.’

The new Atlantic Star House office will open for business again today.
