Scott Brittain confirmed his status as the island’s fastest runner by smashing his own Cayman Islands Marathon yesterday.
Brittain’s time of 2 hours 42 minutes and 33 seconds was almost three minutes faster than the run he did last year.
Russell Coleman was second in 2:52:27 and American Daryl Hultquist third in 3:12:12.
Local runner Beth Schreader was fourth overall and first woman home in 3:12:54.
