The PWC Junior Tennis Circuit Grand Prix No.2 was held at Camana Bay last week.
‘There were some hard fought matches, this circuit is getting very competitive and the level of tennis is improving,’ said Tennis Federation President, Jeremy Superfine.
Ben Ashman won the Under-10 category beating Mateo Polloni 8-3, who struggled with cramp in the final games of the Championship.
William Hayward narrowly beat Edward Bodden 8-6 in the Under-13 category, and Morgan Hayward beat Marc Reid 6-2, 6-1 in the Under 16 category with some fine serving and awesome ground stroke winners.
‘Thanks to PriceWaterhouse Coopers our Junior Circuit Gold Sponsor, Camana Bay for hosting the event, and Torres Top Tennis for running this Grand Prix,’ Superfine said.
Grand Prix No.3 will be held at the Tennis Club in South Sound starting on Friday 27 November.
