The local Netball organization recently held its awards ceremony.
The awards presentation was hosted by the Cayman Islands Netball Association (CINA). It took place Saturday 6 June 2007 at the University College of the Cayman Islands Hall.

Awards were handed out for the adult and various child divisions.
In the adult league, division one saw first place go to Welly’s Storm, second place to All Stars and third place to the Rising Stars. In division two, first place went to Maples and Calder, second place to Uneek Ballers and third place to Flames.
In the under 18 league, first place went to Prep Dynamics, second place to JGHS Flames and third place to JGHS Dynasty.
In the under 14 league, first place went to New Horizons High School, second place to Piranhas of Cayman Prep High School and third place to PACE High School.
In the under 13 league, first place went to New Horizon High School, second place to Young Warriorz of PACE High School and third place to Flamingoes of Cayman Prep High School.
Various other prizes were also awarded. One of them was for the most disciplined and for the most punctual team, which went to Rising Stars.
Also player of the year awards were given for each adult league. Sofia Foster won player of the year for division one and Keisha Terry won player of the year for division two. Pauline Bodden, of All Stars, was named player of the year for the entire CINA.
Assistant Chief of Youth, Sports and Culture Joel Francis along with George Town MLA Lucille Seymour were among the dignitaries on hand.
