Mr. Leech joins Ignition

Ignition, an international IT service provider (www.ignition.ky) has strengthened its client service offerings with the hire of a business development expert, Shaun Leech.

As the firm’s Director of Business Development, Mr. Leech will head up its client-facing efforts, said a press release. In this role, he will be responsible for providing professional information technology solutions to the company’s extensive client base in Grand Cayman.

Mr. Leech has over 17 years experience managing IT in many industries and has delivered projects in Canada, Europe and the USA. These involved strategic IT operational planning, programme and project management, outsourcing and management consulting.

Prior to joining Ignition, Mr. Leech was the director of specialised practices for CGI in the greater Toronto area. In that role, he was responsible for consulting delivery for enterprise application and infrastructure practices, including Lotus Notes, Microsoft and mobile solutions. Prior to CGI, Shaun was director of Information Systems/IT client services at the Toronto Stock Exchange. He has also held various management roles with Eli Lilly Canada and IBM Canada.
