Cayman Islands-based radio conglomerate, dms Broadcasting Ltd. has hired radio marketing expert Chris Oldroyd as its new Marketing and Promotions manager.
In this role, he will be responsible for managing dms Broadcasting’s busy promotions department, which has one of the most active schedules on the island, packed with everything from retro music nights, to beach volleyball tournaments, to children’s sports days, to endless exciting on-air promotions and giveaways, states a press release.

Prior to joining dms Broadcasting, Mr. Oldroyd worked in the Cayman Islands for Hurley’s Entertainment Group where he was responsible for the marketing and promotions of Z99.9 FM and Rooster 101.9 FM. He also previously served on-air as part of the ‘Scott & Chris in the Morning’ show and most recently mid-days on Rooster 101.9FM.
Mr. Oldroyd also worked in a similar capacity for Liverpool’s 107.6 Juice FM, a popular station in the UK, and as Marketing Director in the States for Clear Channel Communications (Dallas Cluster), the world’s largest US radio station owner with over 1300 radio stations worldwide
Mr. Oldroyd is a certified radio marketing consultant, having completed a Radio Advertising Bureau Qualification in 1999. He also has a degree in Marketing and Communications and Graphic Design.
