The Cayman Islands Tourism Association has reminded members that sign-up for 2011 Restaurant Week closes tomorrow, Wednesday, 14 September.
The week is designed to create local promotion for association members during a slower period of the year, said Trina Christian, executive director. She said this will drive traffic into restaurants, provide marketing exposure and benefit members.
Each restaurant has an opportunity to participate by offering a set lunch and/or diner menu.
These are a prix-fixe lunch at $15 which includes two or three options, a prix-fixe dinner for $25 which includes two to three options of appetiser, main course and dessert, a prix-fixe dinner for $35 with similar parameters. Participants may also include prix-fixe add-ons of optional wine pairings.
The dates of Restaurant Week are 3rd to 8th October and promotions are ongoing until then.

Confirmed participants so far: The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman: Taikun; Brick House; Agua; The Wharf; The Lobster Pot; Abacus.
