A Day in the Life, from many

Three artists closed up their ‘residences’ recently and converted the space into exhibit sites – all of which took place at the National Gallery, Harbour Place.

Wray Banker, Kerri-Anne Chisholm and Nasaria Suckoo-Chollette were this year’s artists-in-residence, who spent 10 days experimenting and exploring through their art various aspects of Cayman’s traditions and heritage. Each artist curated his or her individual exhibition, all of which are open to the public through 31 October.

Mona Watler, the National Gallery’s communications and marketing manager, encourages the public to visit the gallery throughout the residency.

“Come out to chat with these talented artists and find out what they have in store for all of us,” Watler says.
