The Toastmasters’ Club of Grand Cayman recently installed a new executive committee and new members during an event at Eduardo’s restaurant.
Executive committee members for 2011-2012 are: president, P. Natalia Turnquest; vice president of education, Pamella Blackwood; vice president of membership, Prudence Pryce; vice president of public relations, Dane Pinnock; treasurer, Marius Gaina; and sergeant-at-arms, Shawn Bazil.
Among the awards presented were Outstanding Toastmaster of the Year – Ingrid Powell, and a special award for outstanding work as former secretary – Ushani Abeyanake.
Two of the club’s founding members, Annick Jackman and Linda Appelqvist, were recognised for their long-standing contributions.

The club meets every Thursday at 6pm at the training room of the Chamber of Commerce in Governor’s Square. All are welcome.
