Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather Jr. has thrown more verbal jabs at Manny Pacquiao by implying that his physique is still chemically enhanced. Mayweather returns to the ring in September but it looks as if he still has no intention of meeting Pacquiao.
“I really feel bad for the fans that have been waiting for the Pacquiao fight for so long,” the undefeated Mayweather said. “It’s just, if I fight a fighter, I want to make sure that fighter is 100 per cent all-pure and all-natural.”
Mayweather faces Victor Ortiz next. Mayweather said he refuses to stake his 41-0 record against Pacquiao because he refuses to take random blood testing even though the Filipino has compromised and shown willingness to take virtually every test the American demands.
But Mayweather, who still has a pending defamation suit from Pacquiao, was careful from accusing him of performance-enhancing drug use. All his opponents have to take random blood and urine tests, insists Money.
If the two warriors eventually make the fight they will share a purse of at least $100 million.
