As the cooler winds blow across the islands, and twinkling lights appear around homes, businesses and even roundabouts, so the annual seasonal events begin.
One of the most anticipated is the Pink Ladies Christmas Bazaar and Tea, usually held in the ARC at Camana Bay, but this year, the theme and location are shifting slightly.
Pink Ladies will be holding a Christmas Market instead on Saturday, 27 Nov. from 2-5pm, and in order to allow more people to attend — based on COVID gatherings regulations — it will be a fully outdoor event, spread out along the Paseo at Camana Bay
Although disappointed not to be able to serve the famous tea or offer goodies from the popular Country Kitchen, the volunteers have been busy throughout the year creating beautiful handmade crafts and decorations, which will be available for sale during the afternoon. In addition, and with the support of The Garden Club of Cayman, the plant sale will still be part of the proceedings, much to the relief of its many fans.

Another highlight will be a raffle for a stunning Christmas quilt, hand-stitched and embellished with Swarovski crystals. There will also be a further opportunity to win a selection of fabulous gift baskets, full of goodies from local stores.
Christmas music recorded by the Cayman Youth Choir will bring a festive air to an afternoon of shopping in support of Pink Ladies community projects, including The Pines, National Children’s Voluntary Organisation, Lighthouse School and Special Olympics.
The Market will be open from 2-5pm on Saturday, 27th Nov. The public is encouraged to show its support for this iconic charitable group, while getting into the spirit of the season. For more information about the Pink Ladies and to join the organisation, visit the website here.
