ICCI Class of 2021 to graduate 24 Feb.

The International College of the Cayman Islands’ Class of 2021 will graduate on Thursday 24 February at the 49th Commencement Exercise, scheduled to begin at 6 pm at the J. F. Harquail Cultural Centre. His Excellency the Governor is scheduled to deliver the Congratulatory Remarks as is the Hon. Juliana O’Connor-Conolly, Minister of Education, District Administration and Lands. Premier Hon. G. Wayne Panton will deliver the Commencement Address before students are presented with awards followed by the Conferring of Degrees.

Of the 26 graduands, one will receive the Master of Science in Management with a concentration in Human Resources Management, six the Master of Business Administration (MBA), eight Bachelor of Science and eleven Associate of Science.

Of the eight Bachelor of Science degree graduands, six will receive a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, one with a concentration in Accounting and two with a concentration in Finance. Of the other two Bachelor of Science degree graduands, one will receive a Bachelor of Science in Human and Social Services and one in Liberal Studies.

The Class of 2021 has some impressive numbers – they hold an overall average GPA of 3.36; 100% of eligible members earned and maintained the Cayman Islands Government Academic Scholarships, 77% participated in ICCI sponsored community service or donated money to ICCI charity related projects, and 54% participated and were awarded certificates in P.R.I.D.E. “Know Your Cayman Islands” Workshop.

Of the 26 graduates, 22 are employed as of today and the remaining four students are full-time students continuing their education to a higher level at ICCI. There are 17 Caymanians of which six are either civil servants or employed with the Cayman Islands Statutory Bodies.
