Journalism Scholarship

Being a journalist means that you are at the heart of the community, talking to people about issues that matter most. Depending on your role, you are helping to uphold integrity and democracy, and highlight the great, the good and the bad aspects of society. You are a witness to history. When you’ve undertaken your training, there are exciting career paths in print, broadcast and digital journalism. For example, you could be a news reporter, a features writer specialising in your subject of interest, or an editor. It also opens the door to other options, such as public relations and communications roles. Moreover, being a journalist allows you stay in Cayman and play an important part in the island life, or travel the world-over with your journalism skills.
