Caymanian King Navassa’s UK show trends

Caymanian King Navassa has become the ruler of the popular UK Channel 4 series Come Dine With Me, with his appearance ranking among the top viewed videos on the show’s social media channels.

Though the episodes, which pit Navassa against four competitors with Caribbean heritage, first premiered back in September, this week’s featurettes have been making the rounds, and his Caymanian charm has been winning fans.

In fact, on the show’s official page, the episode is being touted as one of the funniest in the series, and was the first to feature an all black cast.

Navassa tied for first place in the contest, but the real winner hasn’t been announced yet.

While his spin on curry chicken and cinnamon rolls earned him rave reviews at his dinner party, Navassa’s singing and entertaining skills were a hit.

Come Dine With Me, according to its official page, takes people who are experts in the art of giving the perfect dinner party and puts their skills to the test.

“Each night for a week, one of our hosts will throw a dinner party for the others. They all have their own unique styles of cooking and entertaining, but they’re all determined to impress, because at the end of each evening, the guests will give their host a mark out of ten.

“The host with the most points at the end of the week wins £1,000 pounds,” the programme description states.
