After all scheduled training sessions were cancelled last week at the Lions Aquatic Centre due to a faulty water pump, repair work is almost complete, and the pool should be reopened in the coming days.
People involved in the repair process, confirm that as of Wednesday, 24 May, the pump had been fixed and the pool filled.
The Cayman Islands Aquatic Sports Association told the Compass that final checks, along with the balancing of chemicals, are being done before the pool reopens.
