Cayman swimmer Jordan Crooks carries the hopes of the islands on his broad shoulders as he begins his quest for Olympic glory Tuesday.
And it will be an early start for any Cayman Islands sports fans who want to watch the progress of Crooks and his sister Jillian.

The 100m freestyle heats get under way at 4am Cayman Islands time.
Those who are confident enough to risk a lie-in, might catch the elder of the Crooks siblings, Jordan, 22, in the semi-final, scheduled for 1:30pm on Tuesday.
As the world short-course champion over 50m, Crooks harbours well-founded ambitions of getting out of the heats and competing for a place in the final over a slightly longer distance in Paris.
If he does make it that far, his quest for Cayman’s first ever medal at this stage will be appointment viewing at 3:15pm on Wednesday.
An even bigger chance for a podium spot will begin on Thursday, however, when Crooks competes over his favoured 50m distance. The heats, once again, begin at 4am. The final is scheduled for 1:30pm on Friday.
Jillian Crooks, 18, begins her own campaign in the 100m heats Tuesday morning. A possible future champion, the teenager will be looking at a semi-final place as an outside ambition this time around. If she makes that, it is scheduled for 2.25pm on Tuesday.
Sprinter Davonte Howell is scheduled to begin his campaign with the prelminary heats of the 100m sprint slated for early Saturday. A full schedule of heats will be known closer to the time.
The women’s dinghy event is scheduled to take place in Marseille over five days, from Thursday, with Cayman’s Charlotte Webster involved in two races per day. Should she qualify, the medal race takes place on 6 August.

Here’s the key moments to watch for the Cayman team in France over the next few days.
