Prospective lawyers who want to take the first steps in their legal careers are being invited to apply to Bedell Cristin’s student schemes in the Cayman Islands.

The firm runs an Articled Clerk scheme for qualification as a Cayman Islands Attorney and a scholarship scheme in the Cayman Islands, in line with similar schemes in its offices in Guernsey and Jersey.

The two-year, full-time Articled Clerk scheme involve rotations around legal practice areas, working with partners and fee-earners on legal matters on the path to formal legal qualification, while the scholarship schemes for students undergoing studies offer paid work experience, career advice and financial support.

Bedell Cristin’s Cayman Islands, Guernsey and Jersey offices include qualified lawyers who have graduated through the schemes across all practice groups, and Partner Richard Parry who leads the scheme in the Cayman Islands said that Articled Clerks and scholarship students made a tangible contribution to the business.
