Fashion, art and innovation will take centre stage next month at the highly anticipated Cayman InStyle Fashion Week.
The popular fashion show is set for 10-13 April, with some 140 models bringing the catwalk to life showcasing high fashion collections from esteemed local, regional and international designers.
The models, comprising kids, teens and adults, will strut the catwalk under the direction of Norma Ebanks, the inspiration behind the annual show.
“Cayman InStyle Fashion show is more than just a fashion show, it’s a movement that unites culture, creativity and community,” Norma Ebanks, CEO of Cayman InStyle Fashion Week, told the Cayman Compass.
“This year’s lineup of events, designers, and special celebrity guests will provide an unforgettable experience that celebrates the Cayman Islands while promoting talent from around the globe,” she added.

Gracing the stage as host will be acclaimed Jamaican television presenter, actress and model Yendi Phillips.
Phillips was crowned Miss Jamaica World 2007. She was also Miss Jamaica Universe 2010, and named first runner-up in that year’s Miss Universe pageant. She is the creator of ‘Odyssey’ on YouTube, which offers conversations with her celebrity friends and change-makers across Jamaica.
Phillips told the Compass, “I’m extremely excited to be back in Cayman. When I first came while reigning as Miss Jamaica, the reception was superb. Returning for Cayman InStyle Fashion Week is truly a treat as I get to experience the weekend of fashion, art, and music, and, of course, some good food and the fantastic energy the people always give!”
Joining Phillips for the annual show is US model, actor and author Jeremy Meeks.

Meeks, a convicted felon, had an unexpected rise to fame in 2014 after his striking mugshot went viral online. He was sentenced to prison in 2015 for 27 months after pleading guilty to possession of weapons and ammunition, carrying a weapon in public and criminal street activity. In 2024, he published an autobiography of his humble beginnings and journey to Hollywood.
Meeks told the Compass via text: “It’s an honor to be recognized at this fashion show in the Cayman Islands and to be part of an event that brings [together] such incredible talent. Fashion has opened so many doors for me, and I’m excited to celebrate style, creativity, and culture in a place as beautiful as this.”
Schedule of events
Kicking off this year’s extravaganza is a welcome party, and swimsuit and resort wear show at Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman on 10 April.
Fashion Week will host its annual Red Carpet Gala and Trailblazer Awards at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort on Friday, 11 April, which will honour fashion excellence and recognise the achievements of local talent.
“This year, the event will also feature a special display of art pieces created by students from various local schools, showcasing the creativity and talent of Cayman’s youth,” according to a press release.
The Trailblazer Awards will be sponsored by Innastar, to celebrate the achievements and contributions of creatives within Cayman’s fashion industry.
As usual, the heart of Cayman InStyle Fashion Week will be the runway show on Saturday, 12 April at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, with kids and teens up first, followed by the adult models.

A private sailing experience will bring the curtains down on Sunday, 13 April, offering a day of relaxation and opportunities to network.
“Each year, the success of the event is driven by the exceptional talent, innovative designs, and the unwavering support of our fashion community. From the designers to the models, sponsors, and attendees, every element comes together to create an unparalleled experience that elevates fashion in the Caribbean and beyond,” Ebanks said.
Proceeds from Cayman InStyle Fashion Week will benefit the Creative Fashion School, a non-profit organisation, “dedicated to advancing the Cayman Islands’ industry by providing education, workshops, and training programs for aspiring designers and models”, according to the release.
