
The Cayman Islands chapter of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) will hold its Property Update Forum 2025 on Thursday, 25 Sept., from 5–8pm in the Orchid Ballroom at the Grand Cayman Marriott Resort.
The event brings together leading voices from across the real estate and construction sector to discuss market performance, affordability, policy changes and investment trends.
The forum will open with a welcome by RICS Cayman Islands Chair Andrew Gilbert and will feature remarks Cayman Islands Premier André Ebanks.
The three-hour forum will also include the launch of the new Residential Property Price Index by Uche Obi, director of the Lands and Survey Department. Developed with support from the International Monetary Fund and the Caribbean Regional Technical Assistance Centre, the index represents a milestone for the local real estate and development industry, providing market participants with data-driven insights into pricing trends, valuations and market performance.
A panel discussion moderated by Jeremy Hurst, president of IRG International, will feature leading public- and private-sector professionals in the real estate industry. The panel will share expert perspectives on market performance, investment trends, government policy, affordability and forecasts for the year ahead.
For real estate professionals, the event offers three hours of Continuing Professional Development credit.
The forum will be followed with a networking reception sponsored by Sandbank Capital Ltd.
