Police have identified the man who was stabbed to death in an early hours brawl on Friday as Jahmoll Davonte Watson, 20, from George Town.

A 42-year-old man from West Bay, who gave himself up to police later the same day, has now been charged with murder and other offences, police said in a statement. The accused is expected to appear in court on Monday, 16 Feb.

Watson died after he was stabbed on George Town’s McField Lane, off Mary Street, just after 4am on Friday, 13 Feb. Another man was wounded.

The two were rushed to Anthony S. Eden Hospital, but Watson was pronounced dead by doctors just after arrival.
