Serial sex offender, Ronnie Rodney Ebanks, has been jailed for two years after he was caught pleasuring himself while watching young children playing along the beach.

Police will be able to keep a closer watch on convicted sex offenders through new court orders restricting their movements and behavior after release, according to senior officers.

Grand Court Justice Marva McDonald-Bishop issued Cayman’s first Sexual Harm Prevention Order on Friday when she sentenced Ronnie Rodney Ebanks, 49, to six years imprisonment for indecent assault.

Ronnie Rodney Ebanks was found guilty on Friday of indecently assaulting a female visitor in the Seven Mile Beach condo where she was staying with her son in February.
